Phil Simcosky
INTERIM PASTOR
Phil Simcosky, a native of Independence, Missouri, has over 40 years of pastoral experience and has served four churches in Missouri, Illinois, and Florida. Additionally, he served as interim pastor in two churches in the Kansas City area before coming to Coventry Estates. He graduated from William Jewell College, Southwestern Seminary, and Midwestern Seminary.
He began as a youth and music minister while in college. He also sang in a traveling singing group while at William Jewell College.
Pastor Phil is married to Julie, a native of Raytown, Missouri. They have two sons and two granddaughters.

At our church in Independence, Missouri, you’ll find a warm and welcoming community that’s dedicated to creating a safe and friendly environment.

As the Coventry Estates Baptist Church worship leader, I’ve had the privilege of leading the congregation in worship.
Our church community welcomes people of all ages, and we offer a diverse mix of traditional and contemporary worship music to inspire and uplift everyone.
